We are a privately owned company newly launched by husband and wife team Gordon & Jess Cunningham
Some people have said we must be mad to launch a new business at times like this, for us it made perfect sense, we have passion and understanding for what we are doing and there are no better time for focussing the mind on what is important in life than now.
Our Mission is:
A celebration of the Kitchen for the quality and style conscious consumer, providing innovation and excellent value. We are dedicated to helping customers make informed decisions about life in the kitchen.

The Future:
From little acorns to ………………….. - we have so many ideas, who knows what the future holds. One thing is sure, anything we do will be focussed on you, our customer, and your kitchen needs and desires.
We have started as an e-commerce business, but cooking and baking is about touching, seeing, sensing and, of course, eating, and to progress these elements of our business we are looking for retail property in Edinburgh . As soon as we find the place we’ll let you know and hope that you’ll come and visit us.

Our People
Gordon Cunningham:
Gordon has always had a passion for all things food and particularly cooking. After selling a successful picture framing business, he decided that it was time to turn his passion for cooking into more than just a hobby, and so the idea for Cunningham's Cook and Bakeware Company was born. Gordon was introduced to cooking and baking from his father, whom, in his early years started his career with the Merchant Navy, serving his latter years as a Chief Steward with the Ben Line, Leith, Edinburgh. Gordon definitely wears the trousers in the kitchen at home, and is renowned by friends and family for his own version of Chicken Korma, 'The Gordon Korma' amongst other dishes. Gordon believes that if you have an idea you believe in, you should go for it. "If there is one thing I have learned over the past years, you have to create your own opportunities and take everyone of them, and believe in yourself. There is no such thing as failure." This can be applied to every aspect of life even in the kitchen. Gordon has always built his reputation on customer service and will ensure that the needs of the chef, at home or in the restaurant remain the top priority for Cunningham's Cook and Bakeware Company.
Jess Cunningham:
Jess loves to eat, and at one time used to cook and bake with much joy, but since meeting and marrying Gordon has been kicked out of the kitchen with the exception of the tasting panel and washing up. Like Gordon, Jess has a passion for innovation and customer service and is keen to extend her knowledge and experience of running her own business as a travel plan specialist into Cunningham's Cook and Bakeware Company. "I have always been and ideas person, and take great joy in turning ideas into reality, whether my own or helping others to achieve theirs". Jess's background in sustainability and environmental improvement will ensure that Cunninghams Cook and Bakeware Company will operate as an environmentally ethical business and will support and assist our clients to also achieve that goal.
