Cookery Schools
There are many cook schools across the UK, and deciding which one to go to can be an interesting process.

Things to consider

  • What are you going for - To further your career or set out in a trade, just for the fun of it or you're a serious home cook wanting to sharpen up your act
  • Cost - some can be expensive, and there is no point spending all that money on learning to cook if you can't then afford the food and equipment to put in to practise at home what you have learned at cook school.
  • Type of cooking - consider what food you like or who you are wishing to cook for after the school. If spicy foods are not your thing then don't go on a .................. course
  • Personality - if you still haven't made up your mind then consider the tutor. Cooking is meant to be enjoyable, so be sure that you feel comfortable with the person teaching.

Here is a list of some our local cook schools. To find your local cook school the best thing to do is search on Google.
